One Week till Good in Theory

I can’t believe that it’s already March, aka launch month, and I’m about to release my newest book, Good in Theory, to the world.

This book was the most fun to write out of everything I’ve done, even the kids books. (Don’t tell London!) Really getting to know Lacey was a special time for me, as she has been through some incredibly tough times and still come through with that unshakeable positivity and a funny way of looking at the world. She’s a romantic, a science lover, and a woman fiercely determined to do good in the world. I’m proud of her, of her growth in this story, and of the way she manages to piece back together her personal peace while also moving on to bigger things in her life, bravely and with purpose.

I’d love to be Lacey when I grow up. ❤️

If you’ve followed the writing of Good in Theory for a while, then you know that it wasn’t intended to be a love story, but that concept of having a soulmate, a completely meant to be match, just kept playing in my head early in the writing process. I couldn’t let it go, and I love who Colin became to the story. He’s smart and steady, easy-going. And a bit of a show-off. But he’s an adorable balance for Lacey’s quirks, and they really are better together.

By the way, I’ve never written a book that had a playlist, but ohhhhhh, this one needed it! So much good music for this book, partially thanks to Colin. Trust me, the book and the playlist are better together, and I had to make sure that you had early access to this list to get excited for the launch. You can find it here. (You may need to sign in to Spotify to access it.) I loved listening to this list when I was wrapping up production on Good in Theory!

Finally, if you’d like to order the book, the link is here. Preorders are open now, and the official launch is March 12th!
